October 12, 2018, Burbank, CA – Burbank Arts for All Foundation is proud to present its twelfth Creative Circles Forum:  The Art of Stagecraft on Wednesday, October 17th, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the L.A. Castle Studios in Burbank.

For one night only, guests will enjoy an exclusive discussion with a panel of industry insiders and educators to explore careers in traditional stagecraft and how emerging technologies are impacting the field. From creating sets using virtual technology to designing the production aesthetics of popular films like Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation or daytime dramas like All My Children, there are many career opportunities available in this diverse field at major studios and small businesses in Burbank.

Guests will also be given the unique opportunity to experience the latest in set building through the use of 3D Virtual Sets at Burbank’s own L.A. Castle Studios. The studio utilizes UNREAL video game technology to transport productions to a variety of diverse and faraway locations without ever leaving the studio. The Forum’s panel discussion will take place on the Studio’s greenscreen set, and guests will get a chance to see this cutting-edge technology in action.

Burbank Arts for All Foundation’s Executive Director, Trena Pitchford, said,

“We are fortunate to welcome a distinguished panel of professional experts whose vast careers have brought our favorite TV Shows, feature films or plays to life through art and design and in a live studio setting! We are thrilled to offer this rare opportunity for our community and, even more exciting, we are extending free tickets to BUSD middle and high school students thanks to our anonymous donors. The Foundation’s Creative Circles Forum is just one way we connect K-12 public education with the local industries that make up the creative economy of Burbank.”

At the Creative Circles Forum, the Foundation hosts 80 to 100 guests, including students, parents, artists, executives from the entertainment industry, as well as city and community leaders who join us in support of arts education in Burbank’s public schools. After the inspiring conversation, guests are invited to mix and mingle with the esteemed panelists and VIP guests during a hosted wine and cheese reception, with food donated by Burbank’s own Handy Market.

All proceeds from the Creative Circles Forum will benefit Burbank Arts for All Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to ensure every student in Burbank public schools receives a quality arts education as part of their core curriculum.  For information regarding speakers and tickets log onto:
